Description
“You and work are like oil and vinegar. You don’t exactly mix,” says Gunther’s Dad to his unmotivated teenage son. But when Gunther needs money to buy tickets to a concert, he reluctantly takes on a paper route and begins working with the younger boys in the neighborhood. What ensues is a comical, and at first, inept attempt to deliver papers, but Gunther learns the value of hard work and becomes successful, maybe too successful. When neighborhood bullies see how lucrative the paper delivery business can be, they seize control of the boys’ routes. Now Gunther must decide whether he will stand up for himself and the other boys.
