Description
In 1968, Bill King with three others deciding to sail alone and non-stop around the world, was swept up into a race that would eventually leave one dead, seven withdrawals and only one finisher. King was knocked-down and dismasted 1000 miles west from Cape Town but managed to sail into port. The race for him was finished in 1969 but he attempted the race the following year. The book states his experiences in his attempts to sail alone around the world.
